GENERAL GUIDELINES FOR ADMISSION

REGISTRATION PART-I

CRITERIA

A. Students opting for honours in any of the following courses should secure a minimum of 45% marks in the concerned subject in their HSSLC examination.

1. English
2. History
3. Political Science
4. Sociology

B. Apart from the honours paper a student will compulsorily opt for one generic elective paper of other subjects.

The options available as generic elective paper for the various honours papers are:

Core course/Honours in Generic Paper available in respect of the given honours paper
English Education, History, Political Science and Sociology
History Education, English , Political Science and Sociology
Political Science Education, History, English and Sociology
Sociology Education, History, Political Science and English
C. Students will be admitted on Merit basis depending on the availability of seats.
D. To take up BA General/ Pass course a candidate should clear Class XII examination from a recognised
Board.

DOCUMENTS REQUIRED TO BE SUBMITTED ALONG WITH THE APPLICATION FORM:

• Photo copies of Admit Card and Mark sheet of HSLC
• Pass certificate of HSLC
• Attach recent passport photo on the space provided in the form.
• Four recent colour passport photos with white back ground

Note: Online/ offline registration done before the declaration of class 12 examination results will need to
pay up 50% of the first instalment fee at the time of registration. Candidates subsequently failing to obtain
admission due to insufficient marks shall be refunded back in full.
• Amount payable at the time of registration for BA honours students is Rs. 7,325/-
• Amount payable at the time of registration for BA General Students is Rs. 7025/-

APPLICATION PROCESS

1. Option -I: Forms can be obtained from the College Admission Counter on all working Days.(9am- 2.30pm).
2. Option-II:
  • Forms will be uploaded in the college website with proper instructions.
  • Students who are eligible as per the instructions provided in our website can download the form.
  • Send the complete filled up form to the college through our email or whatapp in the no. provided.
  • Along with the form, the scan documents mentioned in the admission form needs to be send.
  • The Xerox copy of the documents mentioned above has to be sent in PDF format.
  • Payments should be done online through any convenient mode to the accounts details furnished below.
  • A screen shot of the payment has to be send with the details of the candidate i.e., Name and phone no.

REGISTRATION PART-II

Once the result is declared, complete form fill-up and documents required has to be uploaded in the desired
format.
1. Photo copy of Class XII marksheet and Admit card.
2. Pass certificate of HSSLC
3. Migration Certificate and Eligibility Certificate (for candidates from boards other than NBSE)
